How you all collectively contribute to this noble cause of the Trust?
Currently, Gou-shala is in their home only! Until new Gou-shala is built fodder (green and dried) and food is essential. (New Gou-shala has a grazing field). Can we supply/donate to the cause? A list of items required has been made. We are bringing from the local shop at a fixed price. If you know a place where we can get food and fodder at a better price you can arrange or else you can donate for the same. At last, we aim to take care of the Gou-matha and save the desi breed also. Join hands with them to build a prosperous nation as we all believe and worship Gou as Maatha.

How many of us or in general the Gou-shala know that the Cow breeds are in sync with the geography of that particular place?
Karnataka has Malnad Gidda, Amrut Mahal, Kilari, and Krishna as its breed. If these breeds are properly taken care of, then they are capable of giving 6-8 litres of milk per day. In addition to that Gou-Mutra and Gomaya also have their benefits and can be used in many Ayurvedic medicines to cure the most challenging diseases If you are interested to involve in this noble cause please let us know. We are ready to talk to you and kindly visit our Gou-shala. We will be welcoming you to Kamadhenu Gou-Seva Gou-shala

If we don’t do this what is going to happened?
Cow is the treasure of nature’s survival. Preservation of original wealth is our primary priority. Still if we are not protected, nature is destroying. In our country, especially in North India, many Gou-shalas’ are working on saving desi cow breed. They are very traditional and they are saving and increasing regional cows and their production. Where as in South India, we are running behind in this abhiyana and yagnya.More than 15+ breeds are in South India. Like Amruth Mahal, Krishna, Killari, Malnad Gidda, Hallikar, Bargur, Umblachery, Alambadi, Ongole, Pulikulam, Deoni, Kangayam, Vechur, Punganur. Especially in Karnataka Amruth Mahal, Krishna, Killari, Malnad Gidda, Hallikar breeds are there. Present day reality, few breeds are saved from people especially in North Karnataka i.e. Amruth Mahal, Killari and Hallikar. Krishna breed are very very less. There is another breed called Malnad Gidda, which is in the process of extinct. And we have to work on war foot to protect and develop this particular verity which has high medicinal values.

Nagesh Angirasa has also been involved in many progressive activities like providing water and electricity facilities to the interior regions once termed as natural habitats. He is also a known face who works towards the upliftment of people who are mostly neglected as a backward class with non-socio-economic facilities. For all these contributions and social work, As an honour girijan of the Mensanihadya region, Kalsa taluk has donated two acres of land for their Gou-shala. Even the Jain community of that region also stands with him. For people who are not familiar with Western Ghats, The speciality of this region is that it belongs to lord Kalaseshwara. Nagesh Angirasa has taken the pledge of protecting all those abandoned cows on the roads in Shivamogga, Chikmagalur region, nearly 2000-3000 in numbers. It can be noted that in ancient days kings have made regulations for assigning this region as Gou- mala (place for a cow grazing) for the protection of these Malnad Gidda.
